Monitoring Intervals
Monitoring intervals can be configured for each single check and can be set to 5, 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The possible settings are the same for all three packages.
For some operations it may make sense to set longer intervals. In case of failure, the interval will change to 60 sec. so that a meaningful statistics is guaranteed.
Special Checks
We provide different checks for websites, servers, mailservers and databases:
Website: | Server: | Mailserver: | Database: |
|---|---|---|---|
Webcheck | Ping Check | SMTP Check | MySQL |
Login Check | SSH Check | POP3 Check | PostGreSQL |
FTP Check | IMAP Check | MSSQL | |
Port Check |
Monitoring from multiple locations
You can set up monitoring from one or multiple locations. This means that you will get a message each time your service is not available from one of the chosen locations. Thus you can monitor your downtimes for different continents.
At present we offer monitoring from USA and Europe. We are continuing to enlarge our network and will make further locations available to all our customers.
Notification via email or sms (worldwide)
You get error messages via email or/and SMS. Both notifications are optional and can be configured for each check.
User Management
You can set up multiple users and choose for each check which user should receive alert messages to make sure that they get directly to the person in charge.
False Alert Management
In case of failure, each check will be forwarded to and performed from a secondary server in a different location, so the number of false alerts will be minimized.
Easy handling
Global Server Monitoring is realy easy to handle. It will take you just one minute to set up your website monitoring. If you are a computer experienced person or webmaster you can set more specific details. As a non-technical person you just leave the default settings as they are.
